Leadership: Equine Assisted Development
(L-E-A-D) is a powerful experience that unlocks your personal strengths and develops your leadership, team, and communication skills while increasing your awareness and stimulating your creativity. Our horse partners makes LEAD unique and unlike other experiential activities… the horses provide participants a real-life mirror of thoughts, emotions, and physical behaviors that may not be in their consciousness.
Horses come with their own personality, behaviors and attitudes. Their acute awareness of their environment allows the humans interacting with them the ability to learn how they affect others. Learning to develop respect, trust, and how to communicate with these magnificent natural-leaders simulates real-life situations with people and provides valuable information on how your leadership style and how others perceive you. Our LEAD programs create a challenging environment for you to experience lots of "AHA" learning moments!
LEAD offers open enrollment workshops, customized workshops and retreats for teams, profit and non-profit groups, and individual EquiCoaching sessions. All focus on increasing awareness of limiting behaviors, emotions and thoughts while building leadership, team, communication and creative skills.
NO horse experience is needed. No riding is involved. Our horse partners interact with you as a participant and co-facilitator in the activities, which are all done on the ground.
